The Flashlight Protector is a multi-piece lens cover that fits over the bezel of a scout-style weapon light to shield the original glass lens from physical damage and contamination. It is designed for airsoft players who want to keep stray BBs from cracking an expensive light lens, and live-fire shooters who want to keep carbon, dirt, and brass deflection off the bezel during training.

How it assembles:
The cover is a three-piece system. A soft rubber ring slips over the front hood of the flashlight under tension and grips the bezel without any tools. A polycarbonate cover fits inside the ring and holds the lens in line with the emitter. If the lens cracks or scratches under impact, only the lens needs to be replaced, without replacing the entire assembly

Material and optics:
The lens is molded from polycarbonate, impact-resistant material used in safety eyewear. Visible light transmittance is rated at up to 90 percent, the protector adds minimal loss to the light's beam output and pattern. Polycarbonate also handles the heat radiating from light head and stays stable in cold weather without becoming brittle.
