The Quick Disconnect Sling Swivel Replacement is a standalone steel and aluminum QD swivel built to replace a worn, broken, or basic-grade swivel inside any standard push-button QD sling socket. Installs into a socket that already exists on the rifle, sling, or rail mount.

A QD swivel reaches end-of-life when the push button starts to stick, the ball bearings round off and stop locking cleanly in the socket, the D-loop deforms under load, or the finish wears through and the steel begins to corrode. Stock OEM swivels that ship with budget slings or factory rifles are often low quality due to being stamped rather than machined construction.

What the spec changes deliver:
The Anodized Aluminum body is rated for upto 250 lbs pull capacity which pushes the failure point of the swivel past the break point of most nylon and webbing slings, the sling itself becomes the weak link rather than the metalwork. The parallel-stacked ball bearings are less likely to back out under repeated use. The shorter swivel head reduces the visual stack height when locked into a socket.

Installation:
Insert the swivel post into the QD socket and press until the ball bearings click into place. Pull lightly to confirm lock-up. To remove, depress the flat push button fully and pull the swivel free from the socket.
