The QD Sling Attachment Mount is a rail-mounted accessory that adds a quick-detach sling attachment point at any location along a Picatinny or Weaver rail. It is intended for builds where the stock or handguard does not provide a native QD socket, or where the existing sling position needs to be relocated without machining the rifle.

Positioning:
The mount installs at the front, middle, or rear of a handguard, on the upper receiver rail, or on any exposed Picatinny section. Common placements include moving the front sling point rear-ward to balance a long barreled rifle, adding a mid-handguard point for transitional carry, or running two of these mounts as the front and rear contact points for a two-point sling on a rifle that lacks built-in QD sockets. Orientation can be set to either side at install time.

Sling compatibility:
The swivel can be used with any standard push-button QD sling clip. The 1-inch and 1.25-inch webbing is compatible with most attachments. Single-point sling configurations are not the intended use case.

Installation:
A single steel bolt secures the mount to a Picatinny rail slot. The bolt is tightened with the included hex wrench until the mount sits flush against the rail. The mount can be removed, repositioned, or transferred between rifles using the same wrench.
