The Low-Profile QD Sling Mount is a small Picatinny-rail accessory that adds a quick-detach sling socket at any chosen point along the host rail. It is the rifle-side fitting in a QD sling system, the part the user plugs into when the sling already has a push-button QD swivel on the end.

Sling configurations:
The QD socket accepts any standard push-button QD clip, regardless of how the sling is configured. A single-point sling uses one mount and lets the rifle hang muzzle-down from the body for fast transitions. A two-point sling uses two mounts (front and rear) and is the configuration most often run on patrol and competition rifles for stable carry and firing support. Three-point and bungee slings each plug into the same socket.

Position on the rail:
The most common placement is at the rear of the handguard for a two-point front contact, or on the receiver rail for a single-point setup. The mount can be repositioned along the rail at any time using the clamp screw.
